It will be played according to the original Jumbo game rules, extended by ISF game and tournament rules. (ISF = International Stratego Foundation) ISF-rules will be available at the world championship and will be explained before every tournament. Further information at: http://www.isfstratego.com/
The best four of a country of the World Championship of Seniors qualify. If there are not four Seniors of a country, Juniors can participate.
Depending on the number of partizipants it will be played according to Swiss Perfect System or Round Robin. (Every Team against the others.)
Players can not be exchanged. (e.g. the 6th best of a country)
The over all result of the team will be taken into account. (6:1 - 3:3 - 1:6)
Teams determine before the beginning of the tournament who plays at which position. (1-4) This order will not be changeable later.
Places 1-3 honored (Best group result). If teams have the same result, they will play Barrage to determine the better one. (Rules will be explained at the tournament.)
Results of games of the Country Competition will not be counted for the ISF Ranking.
The end of this tournament / announcements of the winners will be at the latest arround 17:00.
